WhyteTracks ApSis an Independent English publisher founded in Denmark in 2009. We publish primarily English language works, but also welcome translations from all languages in the free-thinking academic, non-fiction and serious fiction genres. The company philosophy is to present quality print books that promote cultural diversity and understanding as a heritage for future generations.
The name 'Whyte Tracks' was inspired by the idea that every sound, every sigh or laugh or song, continues on vibrating within the Universe, forever, like white sound. We want to capture a little of the history of humankind before all becomes homogenized into a general Western style: the tales of great-grandmothers habits and methods of doing things which she'd learned from her grandmother - and hers before her and so on. These things are important to us. We want to record some of those 'white sounds' before they are lost in the mists. Whyte Tracks then, could be said to be like the Akashic records.
The team is made up of part time workers and enthusiastic volunteers who have a love and a passion for design and for free thinking copy. Print books and specialist series are prepared with the care and attention to detail that only a small international group can provide.
Royalties : 12,5% offset print books, 30% eBooks
